About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

More Peg Stamping

I have just been sent another photo of a card made up using the peg stamping we did this month.

I love the way diecuts have been used together with the shell border peg stamping to create a great card.

Peg Stamping Cards

Here are our creations from this month. Unfortunately it would seem that we had camera problems as a lot of the pictures are blurred but I've added them all the same.

We made some "Get Well Soon" cards.

Lots went for Christmas cards this month.

And of course the obligatory Birthday Cards.

Well done everyone, the time just flew by didn't it?

September Club - Peg Stamping

This month we are going to be doing some peg stamping, often called Rubber Stamp Tapestry. This is where you build up a picture using various small stamps and different coloured inks. Some sets available in the UK can be found at The Glitter Pot.

Here are the 4 sets I had originally plus my 2 new ones.

All my original pegs fitted into the covered round pot but with the 2 new sets I had to upgrade the storage, so here is the new box in the making.

You can make the basic wreath shape with the stamps or do just a corner, on plain or patterned paper. You can mix the sets too so let's see what we can create this month.
